Iron Curtis Sweatlodge Podcast

To mark 30 years after legendary Joy Division front man Ian Curtis tragically took his own life, TEA pays a small tribute by posting Iron Curtis latest podcast for Sweatlodge.

Curtis has been releasing his blend sweet and emotive house cuts since 2008 on labels such as Mirau, Morris Audio, Boe Recordings and the stella Mule Musiq.

So sit back, relax and let house music tear you apart.

Kuniyuki - Walking In The Naked City

Kuniyuki Takahashi is to release his 3rd full length Walking In The Naked City on Japan label Mule Musiq.

Since 2005 Kuniyuki has released several EPs, 2 LPs and a remix series for the label. Walking In The Naked City includes collaborations with jazz pianist Fumio Itabashi and well know jazz experimentalist Henrick Schwarz (Innervisions) adding some very rare vocals. The pair also worked together on 'The Session' with Yoshihro Tsukahara, released on Mule Musiq in 2008.

Kuniyuki's 'Dear African Sky' appeares on M.A.N.D.Y's Renaissance mix with Theo Parrish's Dubstrumental to 'All These Things' opening Endless Flights successful 'Im Starting To Feel Ok Vol 3' mix cd, mixed and complied by non other then dig and edits DJ KZA.

Kuniyuki's "Remixed 4' was his only release of 2009, hinting at having his head buried between pianos, saxaphones, strings and drum machines all last year.

With Japans magical approach to music we can be sure if previous releases such as 'Guitar Song' and 'Rain of Ocean' are anything to go by then we are in for something special. Over the years Kuniyuki has collborated and or been remixed by Theo Parrish, Henrik Schwarz, Mark E, Tony Lionni, Tokyo Black Star & Chateau Flight.

Not bad for the old CV ey?
